Troy has over 8 years’ experience in restructuring and insolvency appointments across a range of industry sectors.
He has substantial experience in both formal and informal insolvency appointments including receiverships, voluntary administrations, deeds of company arrangements, liquidations and investigations.
Troy has also undertaken a secondment at Coleman Grieg Lawyers in their litigation and dispute resolution team.
Troy has a broad range of industry sector experience across mining, advertising, media, agriculture, professional services, construction, property, recruitment, IT, transport and retail.
Examples include:
- Various independent business reviews for secured lenders and borrowers, assessing the financial position of borrowers and determining strategies to restructure or reduce debt;
- A broad variety of property matters covering residential, industrial, commercial, retail and retirement sectors;
- Receiverships of a large NSW based commercial/ residential carpet supplier;
- Receivership of a large South Australian Concrete Pumping company.
- Negotiating the completion of construction projects, dealing with development issues, negotiating with tenants and adjoining owners and taking assets to market via public sale campaigns;
- Liquidation of a major Sydney based printing press;
- Voluntary Administration of a multi-national trucking company with multiple operations throughout Australia;
- Voluntary Administration of a large drilling company situated in Western NSW with multiple operations in the Hunter Valley and greater NSW;
- Voluntary Administration of an independent NSW supermarket operator.
